I have just been informed by Mike Corfield that the remedial work on the spire at St John the Baptist, Chelmorton, is now complete and the bells are once again available for ringing.

I should have acknowledged that the ME has been using me extra
enthusiastically as a punching bag recently & rewritten the following some
time when the bits of my brain were stuck together better but it’s already
another fracking week since I last posted to the blog. What is more
important, literary finesse or bloody-minded obstinacy? Don’t answer
that. I WILL FIGURE OUT THE SCHEDULE OF BLOG POSTS AGAIN. BUT PROBABLY
NOT THIS WEEK.
